Our Experience Testing the Metabo HPT C3607DAQ4

Recently our team took the Metabo HPT C3607DAQ4 7-1/4” circular saw for an extensive test drive on multiple worksites. Here’s an overview of the performance we experienced:

Cutting Power

This saw features a high-torque motor and no load speed up to 3,700 RPM making fast work of 2x dimensional lumber, plywood, OSB and other common materials. We found the cuts to be smooth and splinter free with the carbide tipped blade.

Comfort and Control

Despite the larger 7-1/4” blade, the C3607DAQ4 maintains a well-balanced and lightweight feel at only 7.7 lbs with battery. The rubberized grip reduces vibration and fatigue during prolonged use. For better cut line visibility, a built-in LED light illuminates the work area.

Convenience

Features like the electric blade brake, onboard hex wrench storage and 45° bevel detents improve jobsite convenience and safety. The tool-less depth stop makes adjusting cutting depth fast. Of course like all 36V MultiVolt tools, this saw is compatible with both 36V and 18V Metabo batteries.
